"Me, Momma Bear and my baby bear stopped by for lunch today and its our first time trying them and let me tell you THE PERFECT EXPERIENCE Services were fast, Food was delicious and better than Caines and zaxbys, The manager lady was awesome and quick, Love you guys we will definitely be back. "Southern roost is the best chicken place within 20 miles! We wanted it for lunch because we’re teachers, but online ordering wasn’t working. However, when we called, they were so nice and accommodating and let us do it over the phone. they had it ready for pick up and everyone’s food was great!"

"Hands down the best chicken in the game. The sauces are on point, the crossaints are flaky and buttery, the tenders are grilled ( or fried, but in my opinion grilled is the way to go here ) to perfection. I've never had a bad experience here. It's been great and consistently so each time."

"Food is good, but could be great. Butter used and given is vegetable oil spread which is very unhealthy. Even online they call it butter, which is false. The restaurant is usually slow and if you are pressed for time, I recommend ordering ahead on the app. Nice decor and vibe inside. They also have new specials for each day of the week and have recently added Bone in wings which is a nice addition."

"My wige and i stopped in the Southern Roost in Baxley for lunch. This is a newer Southern-style restaurant that specializes in hand-breaded chicken and homestyle breakfast. They offer various convenient options, including dine-in, drive-thru, and online ordering. The restaurant provides a family-friendly atmosphere with charming country-themed decor, complimentary WiFi, and dedicated parking. Upon arrival, we placed our order at the counter and received a number, allowing us to get our drinks and find a comfortable table. I chose their signature sandwich, The Dirty Bird, which features pimento cheese, bacon jam, and "dirty dillies." My wife opted for the chicken strips. Both meals were outstanding. We look forward to our next visit and highly reccomend Southern Roost in Baxley."

"Im so excited! Finally a restaurant that not only gives you fresh, hot juicey food. (Not hard, dropped down again to reheat) And an atmosphere that makes you feel like they care. Im sure there are kinks, but honestly even with a long line in Drive Thru, it seems to keep moving and the staff is always so happy. Please please keep up the great service. And try thr DIRTY BIRD! "Passing through Baxley, GA. I stopped at Southern Roost and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a chicken sandwich combo and it was good. Very close to "Chick-fil-A" good.... The sandwich really reminded me of a Chick-fil-A sandwich. The seasoned fries had a very good flavor. The building itself was really cool. The next time I go I will have to try the croissants."
